Britney destroys another interview

Britney Spears is still sabotaging her own efforts at a comeback – this time with another meltdown during a magazine shoot.

According to several reports, Britney was set to be interviewed for the September issue of Allure magazine, and photographed for the cover.

However, this being Britney, things have not gone entirely to plan.

Insiders say that the interview was aborted after Britney had another attack of the crazies.

“Just like she did with OK! magazine, Britney got crazy with Allure and left the shoot without doing an interview,” a source tells perezhilton.com. “She then refused to reschedule later.”

Britney Spears, who is trying to get her career back on track following recent erratic behaviour, has hired a new manager.

For the past three months she has been without management or personal publicist — which has led to situations such as a recent OK Magazine shoot where she insisted her friends, rather than hired professional stylists, do her makeup

The 25-year-old singer has hired Jeff Kwatinez who is the CEO of big Hollywood agency The Firm. Kwatinez until recently represented another pop starlet Kelly Clarkson, who axed him in June, following the cancellation of her concert tour, a rift with her record company boss, and a muted reception for her latest album.

Kwatinez, whose company also represents stars like Leonardo DiCaprio and Cameron Diaz, will be looking to focus media attention back on Spears' career.

Spears has also re-hired her cousin Ali Sims as her assistant.

"She needs to have a really strong team to advise her what to do, what not to do," said Sarah Ivens, editor in chief of OK, after the fateful photoshoot . "And then, if she gets that, I'm sure she can pull it around. It's all there. She's got talent. She just needs to get her priorities straight, I think."

Britney breaks down during pole-dance

Shooting on Britney Spears' new music video was stopped after the singer reportedly "sobbed hysterically" during a pole dance routine.

The troubled star, who was filming the promo for new single Give Me More, apparently looked "dead-eyed" and "disorientated" and became paranoid during her raunchy pole dance last Wednesday.

A source said: "Britney was rude, and she chain-smoked and drank an enormous amount of Red Bull throughout the shoot.

"She had a problem with the extras watching her pole dance, suddenly she was in floods of tears. It was sad to witness."

At one point, Britney - who was wearing a black leather waistcoat, a pair of black hot pants and ripped fishnet tights - squatted on the floor and hugged her Yorkshire Terrier puppy London as she vacantly stared into space.

Around 100 frustrated crewmembers were sent home after 18 hours on the Los Angeles shoot, which had been paid for by Britney.

OK! recalls day of fried-chicken-stained designer dress, frequent bathroom breaks, paranoid behavior.

According to the article, Spears' handlers contacted the magazine recently to collaborate on a story in which "Britney could finally set the record straight about all the rumors surrounding her much-talked-about private life. The two sides agreed to an interview and photo shoot on Thursday with one of Hollywood's top photographers, to be assisted by wardrobe stylists and hair and makeup experts working in a "fabulous" rented mansion in Hollywood.

Before the shoot even happened, OK! reports that a new Spears assistant called the magazine July 17, the day the singer was photographed frolicking in the ocean in Malibu, California, in her underwear, to say that Spears would bring her own clothes to the shoot, despite the mag offering an "extensive and glamorous wardrobe."

On the day of the planned shoot, according to the article, the same assistant frantically called to say Spears would need wardrobe assistance after all. Once on set, Spears reportedly banished everyone except the hair and makeup team to another part of the house before everyone was told to leave so the singer's friends could prep her for the cameras. The magazine's editor in chief then reportedly stepped in to reinstate the professionals, but not long after, Spears is reported to have sent word that the large selection of designer clothes just weren't sexy, tight or short enough for her taste.

Just moments into the interview, Spears decided to break for lunch, and despite pleas from the wardrobe coordinator that she not dine wearing the fancy silk dress she'd chosen to wear, Spears refused to take it off and proceeded to rub the grease from her chicken meal on the outfit, ruining it in the process. Her new Yorkie puppy, London, added insult to injury by going "number two" on a $6,700 Zac Posen gown, which neither Britney nor her assistant cleaned up, according to OK!

Report: Britney Spears and Mom Slap Each Other During Fight

Tensions between Britney Spears and her mother, Lynne, have flared so much that they slapped each other during one ugly fight in mid-June, Star magazine revealed in its current issue.

During the weekend of June 15, Lynne Spears went to her troubled daughter's home and "insisted on taking the kids out to spend some private time with them," the gossip magazine quoted a source as saying. "She didn't ask or suggest, she demanded! Then she began denigrating Britney's mothering skills and losing her temper at the same time!"

Britney Spears's bodyguard 'used to sell sex toys'

BRITNEY Spears's bodyguard Daimon Shippen allegedly used to sell sex toys on the internet, according to gossip website X17online.

The 34-year-old burly security guard - who has been protecting Britney and helping her look after her children - was reportedly fired from his previous agency, Galahad Security, because of his adult website business.

The domestic service security agency he now works for reportedly does not perform regular background checks.

Sources also say Daimon is gay and currently has a boyfriend called Sam.
